EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Modesta DeLuca, a resident of Eastchester and formerly of Mt. Vernon, died Nov. 4. She was 94.
DeLuca was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Lappano, Italy, to Gennaro and Antoinetta (nee Talarico) Cuconato.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Rose Greco and her husband Guido, Maria Marciano and her husband Dominic, Carmela Siconolfi and her husband Vincenzo) and Anthony and his wife Charlene, sister Enissa Fiorito, brother Alberino Cuconato, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are on from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carman Road, Scarsdale.
Interment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
