Richard A. Bargellini, 89, Of Eastchester

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Richard A. Bargellini, 89, of Eastchester, died Tuesday, Aug. 25.

He was born on Dec. 22, 1925, to Eugene and Elvira Bargellini. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a firefighter in Pelham for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Bargellini; children Richard Bargellini, Kelly Pape; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by sons Stephen and Robert Bargellini, three sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends Friday, from 6-8 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc., 190 Main St., Eastchester. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Assumption, 100 Pleasant Ave., Tuckahoe. Interment of ashes to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
