The commissioners will convene at a special meeting on Saturday afternoon to discuss what changes and repairs need to be made to the damaged floor at Fire Station 2.
Four items are on the agenda for Saturday, including discussions about the installation of a three-by-three catch basin in the concrete slab in the right bay (at a cost of $2,541), the removal and replacement of the interior slab in the left bay ($39,391) and the expansion of the floor area so the department can install epoxy coating on the surface ($16,737).
The Eastchester Board of Fire Commissioners will host the meeting, open to the community, at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday at the public meeting room at Fire Station 1.
