Eastchester Police Nab Suspects After Foot Chase

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Two shoplifting suspects led Eastchester police on a foot chase down Wilmot Road before being apprehended Wednesday morning.

According to Eastchester Police, shortly after 11 a.m., two men stole $1,518 in handbags from Lord and Taylor on White Plains Road. The suspects were seen on security cameras grabbing the bags and heading out the front door.

Officers Darin Farrell and John Yanni responded to the scene, giving chase down Wilmot Road, where they finally caught their suspects. Joseph E. Dushock III, 38, and Jason M. Anderson, 33, were arrested and charged with grand larceny, a fourth-degree felony.

According to Det. Sgt. George Barletta, both suspects have an extensive criminal history and have been arrested for theft before.
