Police: Man Flees Grocery Store After Being Busted By Manager In Bronxville

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Police in Bronxville have launched an investigation after a man attempted to flee a local grocery store with hundreds of dollars in goods without paying last week.

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, police were dispatched to ACME on Cedar Street, where employees reported that an unknown man had just attempted to leave the store with a grocery cart containing what was determined to be $231.63 in products.

According to police, while attempting to leave the store, the man was confronted by the manager, when the suspect proceeded to abandon the groceries, sprint away and flee in a dark-colored sedan.
