Tuckahoe Board Of Trustees Remains Republican-Dominant

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – Despite running unopposed incumbent Mayor Steve Ecklond garnered the most votes in the Tuckahoe Village Election on Tuesday.

The Board of Trustees will remain Republican-dominant as Ecklond, Deputy Mayor Tom Giordano and Trustee Greg Luisi all retain their seats. Giordano and Luisi held off strong challenges from Democrats Seth Schultz and Andrew Watiker.

Ecklond garnered 538 votes, with Giordano close behind at 436 and Luisi grabbing 426. As for the challengers, Schultz earned 334 votes while Watiker was cast on 326 ballots.
