EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Eastchester High School Operation Smile Club is hosting a talent show.
Operation Smile is a charity organization that works towards improving the lives of young people across the world who suffer from facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.
The goal is to raise funds in order to send doctors to third-world countries to provide reconstructive surgeries for these children. In the local community, the EHS Operation Smile Club is working towards this goal by hosting the annual Talent Show.
The talent show will be Friday at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
More than 40 high school students perform in various acts: dancers, comedians, bands, jugglers and singers.
There will be goods for sale made by students. There will be a $5 admission and all proceeds will be donated to the charity.
