Cottle Elementary School In Tuckahoe Celebrates Cultural Diversity

Parents of students who are from various countries represented at the school have been coming in and speaking to students about their home countries and popular local activities.

Countries represented include Argentina, Croatia, Eritrea, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Slovakia, Sweden, and Switzerland.

The club is part of the Tuckahoe School District's ongoing effort to teach students the importance of respecting other cultures.
