Cottle School's Talent Show Aids Ailing Student

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Proceeds from a talent show planned at the William E. Cottle School in will go to aid a student who is recuperating from surgery, Tuckahoe school district officials said.

Funds will go to the family of sixth-grader and former talent show participant, Jenna Velez.

The show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11.

Admission is $5. The school is located at 2 Siwanoy Blvd., Eastchester.

Funds will go to the family of sixth-grader and former talent show participant, Jenna Velez, who recently underwent major surgery on her legs, school officials said.

In other announcements:

School reopens after the Thanksgiving holidays on Monday, Nov. 30.
Schools are closed on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
The PTA WEC Holiday Boutique is Thursday, Dec. 3 and Monday, Dec. 7.
