EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- A group of sixth-grade students from Eastchester Middle School created a Google Club as a way to teach other students how to navigate Google Classroom and take advantage of its many educational tools.
The “student teachers” create lesson plans with games to learn about slides, forms, drawings, maps, hangouts, screencastify, snagit and more.
Students can have fun and be creative while learning valuable educational tech tools that will help them to succeed in and outside the classroom.
The club is facilitated by library media specialist Eleanor Schuster.
