Eastchester Schools On Two Hour Delay Wednesday

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – The Eastchester School District will operate on a two hour delay on Wednesday following Tuesday’s snow storm.

According to the district, due to the expectation of further inclement weather and probable icy conditions on the road, busses and schedules will be amended to operate on the two-hour delay.

Temperatures are expected to hover around 20 degrees on Tuesday night, with winds up to 10 miles per hour following Tuesday’s storm that left as many as six inches on the ground in Westchester. Wednesday should see more a more favorable forecast, according to the National Weather Service, with temperatures nearing 40 degrees, with winds upwards of 30 miles per hour.
