TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – The five candidates running for two vacant seats on the Tuckahoe Board of Education will speak to the public for the final time before the May 21 elections.
At 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 – a week before the election – at the Tuckahoe High School Auditorium, there will be a Candidates Forum hosted by the Tuckahoe PTA and Westchester League of Women’s Voters.
Incumbents Anthony Buonocore and Julio Urbina – who is the current president of the board – will be challenged by Eboni Alexander, Stacy Alexander and Cathy Canale Reichelt.
Questions for the candidates can be submitted on index cards provided at the forum or by e-mailing the PTA in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org. Names and street addresses must be provided with each query.
Voter registration will be conducted from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Tuckahoe School District Office on Siwanoy Boulevard. Residents can cast their vote at the election on May 21.
