Tuckahoe Varsity Cheerleaders Have Success at NCA Summer Camp

TUCKAHOE, N.Y.-- The Tuckahoe varsity cheerleaders put on an impressive showing at a National Cheerleaders Association camp recently.

The Tuckahoe Cheerleaders made their mark, bringing home multiple awards at an NCA camp recently.

As a team, Tuckahoe was given multiple awards: Spirit Stick, Certificate of Excellence in Motions, one Excellent Ribbon, three Superior Ribbons, first place in Champion Chant.

As a result, the team was also awarded a bid to the NCA's National competition.

All 14 participants from Tuckahoe received All-American nominations.

The cheerleaders were also honored for participating in a fund-raising event for St. Jude.
