Both differ in the type of clothing required of the competitors as well as in technique and tactics. The winners include Aidan Connolly, third place, children’s expert division; Maria Cristo, first place, children’s novice division; Alexa Grassi, first place, children’s intermediate division; Audrey Horn, first place, children’s novice division; Emma Keegan, second place, children’s novice division; Isabel Macera, second place, children’s beginner division; Amanda Monteleone, second place, children’s novice division; Joseph Paladino, third place, children’s novice division and Matt Sidoti, first place, children’s intermediate division. “I am very proud of our students who did an awesome job at the NAGA tournament,” said Barone. “It is a testament to their hard work and efforts.”
