Three Eastchester HS Players Named To All-State Football Teams

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Two Eastchester High School players have been named to the New York State Sportswriters Association's Class AA all-state team and another to the second all-state team.

This is the first time three teammates have made all-state in football in the same year at Eastchester High School.

Seniors John Arcidiacono and Andrew Schultz made the Class AA all-state team and junior Antonio Rogliano made the second team all-state team. 

Schultz is ranked with the top 11 offensive players in Class A in the state and Arcidiacono is among the top 11 defensive players in Class A in the state (includes Class A private and parochial schools as well). 

As a second team player, Rogliano falls into the category of being in the next tier of 11 players. 

This is the first time three teammates have made all-state in football in the same year at the high school. Arcidiacono is the second player in school history to be named first team all-state on defense for Class A and Schultz is the first player in school history to be named first team all-state on offense for Class A. In addition, Rogliano is the first underclassman to be named all-state second team defense in Class A.
