Route 1 has reopened in South Brunswick after a fatal accident, police said. A 58-year-old woman was killed in the 6 p.m. crash on Monday, Nov. 20, local police said. A predawn crash caused a fuel spill and shut down Route 206 in Hillsborough on Tuesday, Nov. 14. The crash occurred on the southbound side south of Brooks Boulevard around 3:45 a.m., according to 511NJ. All lanes were closed as of 6:15 a.m., the NJDOT said, asking motorists to follow detours.
